Is Factory Handle Removed When Installing Pop & Lock # PL8675 on 2019 Honda Ridgeline

will the 8675 work on this truck and can the old cover be drilled out or will I need to use the black handle that comes with the unit.

I checked with Pop & Lock and was able to verify that the Custom Tailgate Handle # PL8675 referenced in your question is confirmed to fit your 2019 Honda Ridgeline. When installing the system you will need to remove the factory handle on the Ridgeline and replace it completely with the black handle that comes with the kit. Also note that if your factory handle is equipped with the backup camera it can be transferred to the new one so you can continue using it.
