Troubleshooting Turn Signals That Do Not Keep Flashing

Purchased a Curt 55534 wiring harness. Was easy to install but the turn signals on the vehicle and trailer only flashing 3 times then quit flashing they still have the flashing arrow on dash

If your turn signals work at first and then stop, even though your turn signal is still on in your 2009 Dodge Challenger, it sounds like you have a problem with your ground wiring.
You will want to make sure your grounds are securely attached to bare metal surfaces free of any paint, dirt or corrosion of any kind. It is also a good idea to ensure that each of your trailer lights has its own ground, which will help eliminate one light causing an issue with other lights on your trailer.

It is also recommended you use Dielectric Grease for Electrical Connectors # 11755 to help prevent any type of future corrosion in your connector and extend its lifespan and durability.
