Trailer Brake Controller and 7-Way Connector Installation in 2017 Kia Sorento with 4-Pole Wiring

I have a adapter from four flat to seven blade .Will it work the brakes on a pull camper trailer?

No, the brakes on your trailer will not function if you use a 4-pole to 7-way adapter such as # 37185 on your vehicle UNLESS you make the additional circuit connection to bring the brake controller's output to the 7-way connector. If a 4-pole to 7-way adapter is used by itself only the lighting signals from the 4-pole wiring format will be passed through.
If you want to install a trailer brake controller like the excellent Prodigy P3 # 90195 in your 2017 Kia Sorento that has 4-pole wiring you can use the kit # ETBC7. This kit and the controller itself are all you need.
The # ETBC7 kit includes the adapter part # 37185 referenced above along with wire, connectors and everything else you need to complete installation of the controller and of a fully-functioning 7-way vehicle socket. I linked an installation video showing this kit with a 2016 Sorento. Your install will be identical.
