Hitch Bike Rack Recommendation that Only Touches Tires of Bike
Question:
I have several Yakima Frontloaders and I was wondering if there is a 2inch hitch mount system that I could use them on? I currently have them on my pop-up camper but sometimes I want to put 4 of them on my van I can only get 2 on the roof maybe 3 if I really pused it. My current 2inch hitch rack is not carbon frame friendly and the frontloaders would be a good solution using something I already have.

While there isn't a way to install a Yakima FrontLoader part # Y02103 on a trailer hitch we do have the Thule T2 Pro XTR 2 bike rack part # TH83JV which will fit your 2 inch hitch and will work well. This bike racks also only touches the bikes at the tires so it will protect your carbon framed bikes as well. I attached an install video for this for you to check out as well.
