Recommended Hitch Mounted 2 Bike Platform Rack for 2016 Kia Soul with Class I Hitch

Question:

I have a 2016 Kia Soul. I dont want to have to lift my bike over my shoulders and put it on a bike rack. So Im looking for a platform hitch bike rack for two bikes. I also dont want to have to lift my bike over that Center Bar that some have. I am 51inch and those types of things are a little too hard for me. Id like one that tilts away from my car so I can get into the hatch. But I dont want to spend $500 either. LOL

If you have the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # 24915 on your 2016 Kia Soul, then the 6-1/4 inches from the hitch pin hole to the bumper clearance is an important factor.

The Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Platform Rack # KU74FR is the most ideal for loading and carrying because you can walk between the mounts for the inside bike, but you won't be able to fold it close to the vehicle when not in use because it will only give 6 inches of clearance between the hitch pin hole and closest part of the frame when folded. If you don't mind missing that feature this is a great option.
