Will Hitch for Hyundai Santa Fe Limited Fit Other Vehicles

i have a hitch for a hyundai santa fe limited, can it be used on a acura mdx?

Sometimes a given hitch will fit multiple vehicles. This means it may fit on "sister vehicles" such as on both Chevy and GMC vehicles or on both Acura and Honda vehicles. It would be a rare circumstance for a hitch made for a Hyundai to fit on an Acura. For example, the Curt 2-inch hitch # C13153 fits the 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited as well as other years and versions but it does not fit any Acura vehicles.
The custom hitches that we offer are made to use existing holes in the vehicles' frames which simplifies their bolt-on installation and in most cases avoids the need to drill. Since these mounting points are very specific and the hitch is made only to fit those mounting points it is unusual to find cross-compatibility between auto makers.
If you care to tell me the brand and part number of the hitch you have I will be happy to tell you each and every vehicle year/make/model it will fit. Usually hitches have safety stickers with details about their weight ratings and the part number for the hitch should be on that sticker as well. These hitch part numbers are usually 5 or 6 characters.
Please note that the hardware supplied with hitches can be used only one time. So if you happen to have a hitch that can be installed on a different car you will need to order a Replacement Hardware Kit # RHK for that specific hitch to safely re-install it. Never re-use the same hardware.
