Can I Install a Gooseneck Hitch on a 2013 Ford F-150 with Airbags

Question:

Will this hitch work with my truck already having air bags on the rear? If not, what are my options for a gooseneck? I like this setup over the one that mounts on top of the bed. Thanks

Which airbags do you have on your 2013 Ford F-150? If you have the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2525 then no, the Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # 9465-37 will not work as they both install on the outside of the frame rail. If you have the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs part # AL57200 then yes, the Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # 9465-37 will work for you as the airbags install under the frame and the gooseneck brackets install on the outside of the frame.

If you plan to install any in-bed hitch whether that be the Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # 9465-37 or another you will have to remove the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2525 if that is what you have and install the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs part # AL57200 as the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2525 won't allow for any 5th wheel or gooseneck hitch to mount.

Please also keep in mind that if you have the 5-1/2' long bed then you will also most likely need to use the 5" Offset Ball for Hide-A-Goose Gooseneck Trailer Hitches part # 19308 in order to allow for proper turning clearance.
