Installation of Curt Trailer Hitch # 13364 on 2018 Dodge Caravan
Question:
I purchased the Curt 13364 receiver hitch with 2 inch opening. The instructions provide torque readings for the 10 and 12 mm bolts. Nothing about the 13, 15 or 18 mm bolts which carry most of the weight.

When installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 13364 you will use the 3 socket sizes, but the bolts are the 10 and 12mm bolts you referenced the torque values for. I reached out to my tech contact at Curt and the 18mm socket bolts will be the 12mm torque specs and the 15mm socket bolts will be the 10mm torque specs. The 13mm socket used for the exhaust hanger brackets will not have torque specs because of the function, so it is recommended to tighten 1/4 turn past snug.
On this installation we have found that bumper trimming is optional as the bumper will allow you to compress it without trimming if desired. If you don't want the bumper compressed then trimming will be required. I've attached a video to assist.
