Replacement Fuse for the Stromberg Carlson Electric A-Frame Tongue Jack # JET-2500
Question:
The jack stopped working when I retracted the jack all the way up to get the foot plate off. The light doesnt work either, suggesting blown fuse. Does this unit have a fuse, what size and where? Also the manual crank doesnt turn in either direction. When force is applied the crank startws to bend Which is the correct direction to extend the jack?

Yes, the Stromberg Carlson Electric A-Frame Tongue Jack # JET-2500 does have a 30A fuse as you can see from the attached parts picture. If you need to replace this fuse then you can use part # UF17-101066 on our site. Another possibility is that the power wire to your battery is damaged or the battery itself is drained. Both of those options would be worth looking into as well.
To raise the tongue of your trailer (lower the jack leg) you need to turn the handle clockwise. If you are having trouble turning the handle that came with it then you can try using the Crank Handle # JCH-1 or a ratchet with a 3/4" socket.
