Recommendation for Adding Parking Brake to Electric Trailer Brake Assemblies
Question:
Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit w/ Parking Brakes - 7 - Left/Right Hand Assemblies - 2.2K Item # My popup didnt come with parking brakes. Do you have a kit to activate the parking brakes?

Most trailers do not come with parking brakes, but you can add them with certain electric brake assemblies.
If your trailer has 7 inch brakes, then you will want the Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit w/ Parking Brakes - 7" - Left/Right Hand Assemblies - 2.2K # K23-103-104-00. If your trailer has 10 inch brake assemblies, then you will want # K23-086-087-00. These assemblies have a lever and a spring cable location that will give you functionality like a bicycle brake assembly. You will need to modify the Titan Breakaway and Parking Kit for Drum Brakes # T2385200 to work with this system and add the bolt and nut to the brake lever on the back of each assembly.
