once hooked up im getting constant power to the right turn wire when left turn is on what should i do?

It sounds like you may have connected some of the wires from the harness to the wrong wires on the vehicle. Because the wiring on a Volkswagen can get a little complex, this does happen from time to time. but not to worry. Using the circuit tester that came with the wiring harness, you can test the wires on the vehicle after disconnecting the wiring harness on the vehicle.
In the instructions for # 119250KIT which I have linked as reference, you will need to follow the directions for a 3 wire system. Testing the wires is very important and you want to make sure to test all of them just to be on the safe side.
