Can Friction Sway Control Unit Install On Either Side of Trailer
Question:
I have converted from a 5th wheel to a straight hitch. The unit i purchased from a privet owner comes with a Curtis Load Leveling system and 1 sway bar. Having read your info... the unit is 30foot with a GTW of 7000lbs and you recommend that there should be 2 Sway Control bars... So... my Question is are the bars universal or is there a right and left side? Regards

You can install a friction sway control unit like the Curt # 17200 on either side of a trailer by simply flipping the insert of the system around 180 degrees and reinserting it. Once you do that it will fit on the opposite side of the trailer.
