Troubleshooting Loss of Trailer Brakes Around Slight Corners
Question:
I have a fifthwheel camper with a loss of contact to the trailer brakes when making a slight turn to the left only. Replaced the wire to camper. Still doing samething

Did you go with a longer wire when you replaced the wiring on the camper? It sounds like around corners the connector partially unseats. It's actually amazing it doesn't totally pull the plug out. Other possibilities is that around corners the axle and suspension happen to move just enough to short out the trailer wiring if there's exposed wire on that circuit. Only way to track that down will be to go over all of the wiring of the circuit till you find the esposed wire and fix as needed.
