Weight of Swagman Dispatch Platform Bike Rack without Bikes Loaded
Question:
How much does the rack weigh by itself? S44FR. My existing rack is extremely heavy and difficult for me to take from wall and hook up to car. I am now 70 and lifting can be difficult if the item is quite heavy.

The Swagman Dispatch 2 Bike Platform Rack # S44FR is approximately 51 lbs according to my contact at Swagman. This is a well made rack that will support bikes up to 45 lbs each.
A similar but lighter option is the Thule Doubletrack Pro XT Bike Rack # TH92BJ which weighs 35 lbs but also is only rated for bikes up to 35 lbs each.
