Universal 5th Wheel L-Brackets for a 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 and Reese Rails

Question:

I have a 2015 Silverado 1500, short bed, 4 wheel drive truck. I had a Reese fifth wheel hitch 30047 mounted on my truck with rail kit 5006458. When I went to have air bags installed Air Lift Loadlifter 5000 ultimate I was told the frame brackets were to big and in the way of the air bags. After a lot of searching on your web site I came across some different L shaped frame brackets RP58314 that look like they would work. What I would like to know is if these L shaped brackets would work with all of the hardware that came with 5006458 that I have? If I read it right they should work with the 30047. If not what would you recommend ?

Your 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 is indeed compatible with the universal L-brackets. You will need kit # RP30439. This kit includes 4 L-brackets and the hardware required to install them. The old hardware you already have cannot be reused because it is meant to be torqued down one time only. I have included a link to installation instructions for the universal kit.
