Does Buyers Products 6-LED Thin Strobe Light Need Own Power Source

Question:

Can the light be connected to the 4 way flashers? Or does it need its power source? Does it remember the last flash setting? It will be going on a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab pick up.

The Buyers Products 6-LED Thin Strobe Light # 3378891902 does not need its own power source; it can be connected anywhere that will give it 12 volts, which is what you should be getting on your 4-way flashers.

It will stay on the last flash setting that you give it, as per the cut out of the instructions I added for you. Momentarily adding power to the yellow wire will change to the next setting but you can go back to the first setting at any time by quickly applying power to the yellow wire three times in a row.

To mount the strobe light you can use the Trim Ring for Buyers Products 6-LED Thin Strobe Light, which is available in either Chrome # 3378891920 or White # 3378891921 or the Mounting Bracket for Buyers Products 6-LED Thin Strobe Light # 3378891925.
