Troubleshooting Lippert Ground Control that Won't Auto Level and Shuts Down

Question:

on our leveling system, when I park and unhook the tow vehicle and try to use the system it does the following - I push auto level, it saying grounding system, the front jack retract all the way down, the system says jacks grounded and then you hear a click and the system shuts down. About three seconds later it flashes on for less than a second and then is completely blank - with not other movement of any jacks. No error codes. I can push the auto level button again and it does the same thing. I manually leveled the trailer, so all the jacks work fine. I checked the voltage, it is at 13.8 volts.

I forwarded this to my contact at Lippert and this was their response:

The unit was not physically nose high in the front when the customer pressed auto level, or there are to many holes in the drop down legs exposed so the front of the unit dropped down, didnt have enough stroke for the unit to go down far enough. The maximum amount of holes needs to be no more than 5-7 holes exposed. The front of the unit needs to be physically nose high for the auto level to work properly.
