Can Ball Mount Be Swapped with Curt Trailer Hitch Installed on Mini Cooper S Convertible
Question:
Do I have access once the trailer hitch is installed to change the ball mount out for a bike rack? I can not tell from the installation drawing if you can access the the holding pin that holds in the ball mount or the bike rack.

When the Curt trailer hitch part # C11130 is installed on a vehicle like your 2009 Mini Cooper S you can stil access the hitch pin so that you can swap out a ball mount for a bike rack.
The hitch pin hole should be accessible behind the bumper as shown in the photo I edited for you.
You will need to reach up behind the bumper to insert the hitch pin.
