Could Fixed Companion Hitch for Ford Rail Kit Work in Short Bed 2018 Ford F-350  

Question:

The same camper has worked fine in a standard bed chevy. 6 1/2 bed. Will this new hitch be ok in the same size ford bed . I didnt want to get the slider if I didnt need it. Thanks

If your trailer was towed with a short bed truck previously and a slider hitch wasn't needed then for your 2018 Ford F-350 with the same bed length of 6-3/4 feet the B and W Companion part # BWRVK3300 would fit and would work well.

Normally slider hitches are needed with short bed trucks like the Companion slider part # BWRVK3370 which fits your truck too, but if the trailer has a tapered nose a fixed hitch can work as well.
