Will Curt Hitch For 2019 Honda Pilot Touring Impact the Hands Free Sensors for Tailgate Lift?
Question:
Will this hitches installation effect the operation of the hands tailgate on this model. As it appears the hitch might be placed close to the sensor. And/or will the sensor need to be moved/motified to accommodate this hitch’s installation? Thank you in advance for the help, you guys are great ! ??

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13146 will unfortunately most likely block the hands-free liftgate sensor. However, a sensor relocation kit (Honda part number I08L91-TG7-100C) is available directly through Honda. It moves the sensor off center to accommodate the installation of the trailer hitch on the 2019-2021 Pilot.
