Availability of Gasket for Bargman LED Double Tail Light # 47-84-008

Question:

I purchased these tail lights from e-trailer and they arrived today. The previous taillights on my Forest River Forester came with rubber gaskets that fit between the lights and the surface of the coach. Does Bargman make gaskets for these lights to keep rain out of the cutouts behind the lights. If so, please advise if you sell them and what is the part called. Thank you,

I may have a solution for you but there is not a gasket available for the Bargman LED Double Tail Light # 47-84-008. We have spoken with Bargman in the past about this and they said that because of the design of the light gaskets are not used because they can actually trap condensation inside the lens that wouldn't have a chance to dry out.

If you are concerned about moisture getting inside the assembly I recommend using a gasket maker like the Loctite # LT37464 around the mounting surface.
