Replacing the 7-Way Trailer Connector on a 2004 GMC Sierra

Someone cut and took my towing harness. Need to know the function of each wire with the corresponding color. Thanks

According to the owner's manual for your 2004 GMC Sierra, the wire functions based on color are as follows:
• Yellow: Left Stop/Turn Signal
• Dark Green: Right Stop/Turn Signal
• Brown: Taillamps
• White: Ground
• Light Green: Back-up Lamps
• Light Blue: CHMSL
• Red: Battery Feed
• Dark Blue: Trailer Brake
In order to replace the trailer connector I recommend using the Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow part # HM48470 as this will be one of the most cost effective options you have. See video below for install.
