The hitch I suggest for your 2018 Honda Pilot is the Curt model # C13146. This Curt hitch is USA-made and includes all required mounting hardware. You do not have to do any drilling to install it and it will fit fine with an 18-inch or smaller spare tire stowed under the vehicle. It also has a high tongue weight capacity of 900-lbs.
An installation video is linked along with the written instructions; the instructions list the specific tools needed to bolt this on to your Pilot. I also included a photo showing the clean appearance of the installed hitch. There really is little change to the vehicle's appearance after installation.
If you also need trailer wiring for towing you can use part # 118286 if you do not have the tow package or part # C56291 if you do have the factory tow package. You might also like our ball mount kit # 989900 which includes multiple hitch balls and ball mounts to give you flexibility in towing trailers with different heights and different sizes of coupler.
