Installation of Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 with Factory Hitch
Question:
Besides taking off old hitch, will I need to take bed off? Will I need to Drill? Do you have installation directions for my truck? I want to make sure I can install it myself. Thank you

For your 2003 Ram 2500, the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - 2-1/2" # DT45509 is a fit with the factory hitch. The bed does not need to be removed but you will remove 6 bed bolts and then use a 2 inch wood block between the frame and the bed. There is some drilling involved with this installation. I've attached the installation instructions to assist.
