Do My Tires Need to be Filled to the PSI Listed on the Trailer or Tire
Question:
This tire has a max PSI of 65, but the label on my trailer where the tire is mounted says to inflate to 50. Which one should I follow and any idea why the difference? Thanks!

The Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire with 13" White Wheel part # AM31985 will need to be filled to 65 psi in order to retain the 1,610 lb capacity. The psi rating for trailer tires is not a constant across all manufactures even of the same size and load range. Therefore, it is very possible that although you are using the correct size and load range, the psi ratings are different which is fine.
