Recommendation for Charging Five Lawn Equipment Batteries on Trailer During Stops

I am trying to out fit my teams with a charging solution for our battery lawn equipment. Each crew has 5 batteries that get charge with a 120v charger that has a input characteristics of 2.75A and a rated input voltage of 100Vac-240Vac. They will be charging the batteries in-between stops and at lunch. I honestly dont believe all batteries will need to be to be charged after each stop but I would like the option if possiable. At night we will plug up to shore-power. Is this possible? I am by no means an expert on this and from what I read I believe each trailer will take a 12 battery bank. This would cost a ton. Am I correct or is there another solution?

Your best and most economical option for being able to charge up the batteries for each of your crews during stops or lunches may be to just equip each trailer with a generator like # CH94FR. This generator will provide you with two 120V 20-amp power outlets to charge your batteries. It features an electric-start engine with a handheld remote and has a continuous run time at 1/4 load of up to 14 hours. Whether this will work well will also depend a bit on just how often the batteries will need to be charged.

Another possible option is to wire an inverter like the Go Power # 34280176 to an auxiliary battery on the trucks for each crew with an isolator like the Redarc # 331-SBI12D. The inverter will convert the incoming DC power to usable AC power. It is a sine wave inverter with dual outlets that have 800 watts of continuous output power.
