Could Go Power Heavy-Duty Modified Sine Wave Inverter # 34280176 Charge Drill Battery
Question:
I am looking to mount it to a 1998 Chevy 2500. Can I mount it in the engine compartment? Will it charge 18v and 20v cordless tool batteries Dewalt ?

Expert Reply:
Inverters need to be kept out of really hot environments to function properly. Engine compartments get very hot so this would not be an ideal solution. The output voltage though of this is compatible with the charger of a cordless drill though so it for that application it would work well.
