Recommendation to Replace Off Road 22-11-10 Tires on Golf Cart with Tires for Use on Pavement

Question:

We have a golf cart we bought with a lift on it and 22/11-10 tires. Problem is that we only ride on pavement and we go through off road tires in 2-3 months. Im looking for a more street friendly tire. The ones Im seeing are measured like 205/50-10. What size is comparable to my 22/11-10?

The 22/11-10 size tires on your golf cart measure 22 inches in height/diameter and 11 inches in width. It is mounted to a 10 inch wheel. The closest tire size we have available in terms of overall height/diameter is a 5.30-12 tire like the Taskmaster # TT53012C. This size tire has a height/diameter of 21.9 inches but will be quite a bit smaller in width at just 5.39 inches. The tire has a maximum load of 1,050 pounds at 80 psi.

This is a radial ply tire which means the cords inside the tire run at a 90 degree angle to the direction of travel. This allows the tire to flex more, giving it better ground contact, traction, stability, and tread wear. It will also normally run cooler than alternate bias ply tires. A radial tire will definitely perform better on paved streets like what you are needing them for.

For a tire and wheel combo you can use the Taskmaster w/ 12" White Spoke Wheel # TA78RR. The wheel features a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern so you will need to make sure this matches the hubs on your golf cart.
