The etrailer Motorcycle Carrier - 2" Hitches # e98873 will not allow you to tow a boat behind the carrier as it does not have a receiver. There are a couple of options to give you the ability to transport both.

The first option is to use a front mounted hitch for your motorcycle carrier to give you the separate receiver locations and not have to share the tongue weight of both on a single hitch which will have a tongue weight capacity that can't be exceeded. For a front mounted hitch, I will need the year/make/model of vehicle to confirm a fit.

The second option if you have a heavy duty trailer hitch that can handle the tongue weight is to use a stacked receiver ball mount like the Gen-Y Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers - 2" Hitch # 325-GH-525. This will allow you to use the hitch ball to tow the boat and you can use one of the higher receiver openings for the carrier. I've attached the page to all of your options for a 2 inch stacked receiver ball mount to assist.
