Locating Correct Replacement Tarp for TruXedo TruXport # TX277601

Question:

2008 Ford F150 extended cab 5.5inch bed I can not locate the date code or the serial number to order a replacement cover. How can I order new replacement cover.

The Replacement Tarp # TX2776-CVR that you referenced is the correct tarp if you have the TruXedo TruXport Tonneau Cover # TX277601 on your 2008 Ford F-150. There have been a couple different generations of this particular tonneau cover model so the exact replacement tarp you need will depend on the age of your cover. Either the serial number or the date code will give us this information.

The serial number is usually listed on a sticker up towards the cab on the driver's side of the front header. Since your cover is older it's very possible that the sticker has been worn off. The date code though should be printed right onto the underside of the tarp, usually with white lettering. I recommend inspecting the entirety of the tarp to see if you can locate a date code somewhere on the unit. Unfortunately we can't verify that the correct replacement will be sent out without this information.
