Starting with the trailer hitch for your 2018 Honda Pilot I recommend the etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Receiver # E98840. This Class III hitch is confirmed to fit your vehicle and will use existing holes in its frame for a no-drill installation. It will provide you with a 2 inch receiver opening and it has a towing capacity of 6,000 pounds, although you will also want to check the Pilot's capacity by looking through your owner's manual. You will just need to follow whichever limit is lower, the vehicle's or the hitch's.
I have attached the written installation instructions that you can also take a look at.
For 7-Way wiring you can use the Tekonsha T-One # 118286. This custom harness will install by plugging into factory ports behind the rear bumper. This particular harness includes all the fuses needed to activate the tow package and also provides you with a connector for models of the Pilot that are equipped with the backup sensor that allows the sensor to keep working. I have again attached the installation instructions that you can review.
To pull a trailer you will also need a ball mount and hitch ball. I have attached a great article that explains how to choose the best one for your setup along with a link that will take you to our available selection.
