Tail Light Converter Causing Turn Signals to Light Up
Question:
Hi, i recently purchased a turn signal tail light converter to use on my honda pioneer SXS. After hooking it up I noticed the turn signals in the front light up when I press the brake pedal. How can I fix this issue? Thanks

When installing the Hopkins Taillight Converter Kit with 4-Way Flat Connector # HM48895 you need to use a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 to identify the light functions so it is likely the wiring connections were simply mixed up somewhere along the line.
Once you do identify the wire functions you can connect them with the wires on the Hopkins:
- Brown: Park or Tail
- Yellow: Left Turn
- Green: Right Turn
- Red: Brake
