Yes, the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 24825, will fit the 2011 Volkswagen Golf TDI. All of the trailer hitches, including the Draw-Tite hitch, are Class I hitches. This means that you will need a bike rack that is compatible with a Class I hitch. It also means that you will be limited to carrying 2 bikes.

The 2 bike limit is because more than 2 bikes would put too much stress on the receiver. Having more weight further from the receiver on a Class I trailer hitch can damage the hitch and vehicle. For a compatible bike rack, I recommend the Swagman Trailhead, # S63360. This bike rack is compatible with a Class I trailer hitch.
