Difficulty Replacing Lens on Optronics LED Tail Lights

Question:

How do you change the lens? When I unscrewed the broken one I found that the led module appears to be bonded to the center of the lens by what appears to be acrylic or epoxy. How do I get the module out without breakage. Left side with plate light. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I contacted our representative at Optronics about replacing the tail light lens on your Optronics LED tail light lens. Optronics has made a change in the way the # STL8RB and # STL9RB LED Lights are made, now the lens and the LED diodes are all one piece.

You would need to replace the entire light assembly as you can no longer replace the lens. The smaller sidemarker lens on the tail light assembly is replaceable, but the main tail light lens is not.
