If you are not receiving power to the pin in the 5 o'clock position when using the manual override on your brake controller then your wiring is either damaged or your brake controller needs to be replaced.

To determine which part is the problem simply cut the brake controller output wire 6" away from your controller (typically a blue wire). Activate the manual override and use a tester like part # PTW2992 to see if it is sending out power. If it is then you have damaged wiring and you need to replace it or sections of it. You can use 10 Gauge Wire # 10-1-1 to do so.

If there is no signal but your brake controller is receiving power from the battery then that means something internally is messed up with the controller and it will need to be replaced. I recommend going with the Prodigy P2 # 90885 as this is a proportional controller that has received a vast amount of great reviews from our customers. This is due to ease of use and reliability.
