Where to Run Black Wire of 37185 Adapter on 2017 Toyota Highlander Hybrid

Hello, I just bought part #37185 to go from my 4 pole trailer wire up to a 7 blade for towing my new camper. I plugged the existing 4 pole into the adapter, secured the ground wire to the frame, and I also wired the black cable to the battery. I wasnt sure where to attach the black wire to the battery, so I was hoping you could confirm the right location. There are two studs coming up from near the positive terminal of the battery and I wasnt sure which one. I attached it to the stud nearest the terminal. Ill attach a few pictures and hopefully you can tell me if I attached the wire in the right place. Thank you!

You did everything correctly. The black wire of the # 37185 would need to go to the terminal that attaches directly to the positve post like you did. The other post looks to be circuit protected and for a different accessory so bypassing that would be the correct method.
