Can the E-Track be Used to Secure an Outboard Tiller Motor in an Enclosed Trailer
Question:
Any thoughts on using E-Track to somehow make a mount inside a 5x8 enclosed trailer for an outboard tiller motor? 20 HP. We have a 12 foot inflatable that can be rolled up but I dont like laying the engine down. Thanks,

You can mount E-Track both horizontally, with part # E19148, and vertically, with part # E19146, but you would almost need a stand if you are wanting to keep your tiller motor upright. If you were to solely use the E-Track equipment your motor would just be suspended in the air and would swing back and forth with the tie-downs.
I recommend finding a way to mount your motor on a type of stand and then using straps like part # EM59136 to secure the motor to the side of your trailer.
