Recommended Bracket Placement of the Husky Center Line Weight Distribution System
Question:
My trailer A frame is welded between 28.5 and 30.5 inches. I have centerline at 33 but you answer to a similar question says the bars may fall off the slide on wide turns. My tank support is welded so moving it is not an option. I may be able to centerline at 27.5 inches. Bars would not slide off but would that present a different problem while driving?

The frame brackets for the Husky Center Line Weight Distribution System part # HT32218 will need to be positioned 28.5”-30.5” back from the center of the trailer coupler as you mentioned. I cannot recommend placing them anywhere outside of this range as that would go against the manufacturer's recommendations which I cannot do.
If you do not have space on the frame for the Husky brackets then you may want to think about switching systems to one which attaches to the side of the trailer frame like the Strait-Line Weight Distribution w Sway Control part # RP66130 with the Chain Hangers for Reese Weight Distribution Systems part # RP58305.
