Replacement Key for Master Lock Hitch Receiver and Coupler Lock Set
Question:
I lost the only key to my 2848DAT and my trailer is still hooked up to my truck. How can I find the key number if I lost it

Expert Reply:
The Master Lock Hitch Receiver and Coupler Latch Lock Set - Padlock - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # 2848DAT has replacement keys if you know the key number using # MLK1. If you do not know your key number, unfortunately there is no way to determine the replacement key needed. You can either drill out your locks to remove them and then replace your locks or you can have a local locksmith help you with forming a new key from your lock cylinder.
