Should the White Wire Have Power on a Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness
Question:
I have a standard connection Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Item # C55376 after testing the wiring, I am having issues with only the white wire coming from the C55376. It is not working with this SUV. I have the controller grounded to the suv body. When testing my trailer another cars wiring the trailer lights work properly.

What do you mean by the white wire is not working? If you are using a circuit tester and testing the pin that corresponds to the white wire on the trailer connector then you should not have any power to this wire as it is a ground. Are the trailer lights working? If not then you may need to reattach the ground wire from the converter box to a clean bare (no paint) metal surface.
Also, the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness is designed for a Dodge Caravan or Chrysler Town and Country. If you have a 2010 Ford Escape which is the vehicle you entered into the fit guide then the correct wiring harness for you is the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56329 which would also explain why the lights are not working.
