What is Towing Capacity of 2017 Ford F-150 with EcoBoost Engine

Question:

IO have a 2017 F-150 4x4 crew cab short box with a 10 speed tranny and eco-boost. What is my bumper pull capacity and what is my capacity if I pur a 5th wheel hitch on it? Can i increase capacity by adding springs or anything? Thanks.

The maximum towing capacity (when properly equipped) for a 2017 Ford F-150 with the EcoBoost engine is 11,300 lbs from what I was able to find online. This would be the max fifth wheel capacity. You'd need to look at the hitch at the rear of your truck to find out the bumper pull capacity as it will be listed there.

Suspension enhancement like the Timbren kit part # TFR1504E will give you additional support to safely tow the capacity of the truck but will not increase the capacity of the vehicle.
