Reese or Curt Friction Sway Control Kit
Question:
Is it possible to acquire one of these with two mounting plates for the trailer side of the mounting? I have a 25 ft. 2009 Airstream and a 21 ft. vintage travel trailer, a 1954 Traveleze. Id like to able to use a suitable unit for both trailers. Would also like a recommendation as to the best one.

Both the Reese Friction Sway Control Kit # 83660 and the Curt # 17200 have the same exact function and there really isn't a big difference between the two models other than the brand name. The Reese unit is the more popular option and we hear very little issues from our customers. Because of this and its more economical price point I recommend going with the Reese # 83660.
For an additional ball-plate assembly you can use part # RP58062 which includes the mounting hardware.
