I have attached the installation video that you referenced below, which shows the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controller # 90195 being installed on a 1996 Chevy C/K Series Pickup using the Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7. The process should be very similar on your 1999 K2500.

If you already have a 7-Way connector installed on the truck you will just need to add the Wiring Kit # 5506 instead of the full # ETBC7 Kit.
