Would B and W Companion Hitch Slider for Ram Rail Kit be Easy to Steal  

Question:

Is there a way to lock this hitch to the bed? Maybe padlocks on the rails?? Just dont want someone to be tempted to take it. Any other suggestions? Thank you sir,

The greatest theft deterrent for using a fifth wheel hitch like the B and Companion Slider Hitch for Ram Rail kits part # BWRVK3670 would be a tonneau cover. For your 2018 Ram 2500 long bed you'd want something like the Pace Edwards SwitchBlade part # 311-SWD7936 which is a retractable aluminum tonneau that when closed no one would know you had a fifth wheel hitch installed. Also when you lock your tailgate you will have locked the tonneau.
