Will the Draw-Tite Hitch Part # C12225 Scrape on a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix
Question:
The 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix sits lower than the other cars, will I have issues with scraping the pavement?

Whenever you install a trailer hitch receiver like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C12225 on a vehicle that sits low like your 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix, the chance of scraping is always going to be a concern. However, what you can do is have a skid wheel like part # UF48-979022 welded to the bottom of the receiver tube as this would then prevent any scraping. This is the only option we have to prevent scraping.
If you can tell me what you will be using the trailer hitch for, I would be happy to provide additional recommendations or alternative solutions. I have attached an install video for you as well.
