I have a 2015 GMC sierra 2500 crew cab short bed with a curt removable underbody round 5th wheel pin would like to purchase a curt slider receiver that fits this what do you recommend I need

Sounds like you have the Curt EZr gooseneck hitch part # C611-624 installed in your 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 short bed based on what you described. To install a slider gooseneck hitch you'll need an X5 adapter part # C16220 so that you have a set of rails for the hitch to install in. Once that's in place you could then install the Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Slider # C16521 that you referenced which would be a great choice.
