Bike Rack Recommendation for Rear of Camper Trailer Similar to Hollywood Racks

Why does Hollywood Racks not recommend that their Sport Rider SE2 2 bike rack for electric bikes HR1450Y not be placed on a towed vehicle? We have seen bike racks on the back of vehicles towed by RVs.

Expert Reply:
At the rear of a trailer or RV the ride quality is very rough when compared to the ride quality at the rear of a passenger vehicle. Reason being the suspension isn't as sophisticated and there is a longer distance between the rear axle and the rear of the trailer which exaggerates the movement of the trailer when hitting bumps. Because of that only a few bike racks were designed to be reinforced enough for that type of use. Hollywood Rack does not recommend the use of their racks at the back of a camper, but we have a pretty similar solution that would work well.
The best option will be the Swagman E-Spec 2 bike rack part # S94FR which fits a 2-inch hitch and is rated for the rougher ride quality at the rear of a camper trailer like what you have. It also has a 60 lb per bike capacity which means it will be rated for the heavier weight bikes as well.
