How to Choose Replacement Equalizer for Fifth Wheel

Question:

I have a 2013 Open Range fifth wheel camper and on a recent trip the tires touched on the left side. I found that the equalizer shock absorber had dry rotted and collapsed. I left it in storage at the camp ground until I can repair it. I was wondering, based on the photos, if you could assist me in finding a replacement rubber shock absorber for this.

Unfortunately your photos did not come through but I think I can still help you. What you'll need to do is measure the good equalizers on your fifth wheel to get the replacement needed.

You can measure the length from center of left-most eye to center of right-most eye, length from center of left eye to center of middle eye, the diameter of center eye hole, and the height from the center of the bottom hole to the center of the top hole.

If you take a look at the attached cutout you can see exactly where you are going to need to measure. If you get back to me with this info I'd be happy to help you, or you can check out the link to our selection of equalizers which I have added for you.
