How far back so my wagman 2 bike rack will work without hitting the back window

We have installed the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C12270 on a similar 2000 Subaru Legacy Outback Wagon and we found that the distance from the hitch pin hole to the outer edge of the bumper is 5-3/4". That is the measurement that you will use to determine if it will work.
