Parts Needed to Connect 4-Way on Motorcycle to 6-Way on Trailer
Question:
i have a 6 wire plug on my trailer, its just a small motorcycle camper , and i have a 4 wire flat on the motorcycle . i have 2 new wire harnesses 6 wir and 4 wire i am going to cut them and solder the wires together were do the 6 wires connect to the 4 wire plug. thank you

A typical 4-Way connector will have the ground on the white wire, tail/running lights on the brown wire, left turn/stop on the yellow wire, and right turn/stop on the green wire (see attached picture).
If your trailer has brakes or a seperate circuit for the reverse lights then you would want to use an adapter like part # A10-6034VP on your motorcycle so that you can still utilize all of the functions on your trailer. I have attached a photo showing how this adapter should be connected for you to reference.
